SE Barnet is an internationally exhibiting artist previously based in Los Angeles, now living in London, after completing a PhD in Fine Art there . Working across performance and installation, her practice employs anecdote and language towards a consideration of personal history. Her work addresses the experience of the individual in our complexly interrelated world where place, and images of places, carry an overabundance of meanings. Barnet employs instigation and language with which she creates situations, collaborations and events.
